Return policy
Eagle-Eye is a wholesaler and sells exclusively to professional buyers (B2B). The terms below complement our general terms of sale and apply to every order.
Scope
Our sales are intended exclusively for professional buyers (companies, self-employed and liberal professions). The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (Book VI of the Belgian Code of Economic Law) applies only to consumers and therefore does not apply to our sales.
Inspection before shipping
Every product is thoroughly inspected and tested in our workshop before shipment. Only items that meet our quality standards leave our premises.
Shipping
We ship exclusively via insured carriers. The risk of loss or damage during transport is covered by this insurance, provided the buyer reports any damage as described below.
Complaints on receipt
Visible damage, missing items or non-conforming deliveries must be reported in writing by e-mail within 8 calendar days of receipt, with clear photos of the product and packaging. Hidden defects must be reported within a reasonable time after discovery, in accordance with the rules on conformity and latent defects (art. 1641 et seq. of the former Belgian Civil Code).
Returns only after explicit approval
A return is only possible after our prior, explicit written approval (RMA). Parcels returned without our consent will be refused and sent back at the sender's expense.
Return costs and method
Approved returns are always at the buyer's cost and risk, and must be sent via insured shipping. Goods must be returned in their original, undamaged packaging and in perfect condition, including all accessories and documents.
Inspection on receipt
Upon receipt in our workshop the condition of the product is carefully assessed. Based on this assessment we will — at our choice and in line with B2B trade practice — proceed with replacement, repair, or issuing a credit note.
Non-conforming returns
Returns that do not meet these conditions (no prior approval, uninsured shipment, missing parts, damage caused by inadequate packaging or by the buyer) will be refused or offset against a reduction in value.
Exclusions
Custom or personalised products, scissors and knives that have already been sharpened or used, and special orders cannot be returned, except in the event of proven non-conformity or a latent defect.
Governing law and jurisdiction
All sales are governed exclusively by Belgian law. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Eupen.
