Our scissors are now a Febelhair member benefit. Here is how it works
Febelhair, the only recognised sector federation for hairdressers in Belgium, has added Eagle-Eye to its member benefits. Members get 10% off the entire range, from a sharpening service to a new pair of scissors.

Who is Febelhair
Febelhair is the only recognised sector organisation for hairdressers in Belgium. From its base in Ghent it defends the trade's interests at policy level: think of the negotiations on energy premiums and the support measures for employers during the pandemic. There is also the Febelhair Academy for training, plus sector news and advice for anyone running a salon.
Becoming a member also gets you a UNIZO membership straight away. There are nineteen member benefits listed on their site in total. We are one of them.
What the benefit gives you
If you are a Febelhair member, you get 10% off everything we do. Not just on the scissors, on the sharpening service too. For a salon that has its scissors seen to every year, that adds up.
How we work
Arend-Jan van Kampen is a recognised craftsman for sharpening and repairing hairdressing scissors. He does not sharpen to a fixed recipe: every pair gets the treatment that suits the brand, the steel and the cutting technique. To keep those techniques sharp he works together with manufacturers and with hairdressers on the floor.
There are two ways to have your scissors done:
On site. From five pairs onwards, Arend-Jan comes to your salon and sharpens them there. You are not without your tools for a single day.
By post. That works too, with a guarantee that they are back with you within seven days.
The range itself runs from starter sets to handmade scissors from Seki in Japan, the city where they have been forging swords for centuries. Every pair is selected and finished in our Belgian workshop before it goes out the door.
We come to the trade fairs too
You will not only find us online. We attend trade fairs and events in the sector, with the sharpening machine along. Feel free to drop by with a pair of scissors in your pocket.
